She was born in Opelika, Alabama daughter of the late Wilmer and Ollie Towery Furlow.
She was a homemaker but had previously been a ballroom dancing instructor, hair stylist, a wonderful cook and an Animal Lover.
Preceded in death by her husbands, Frank T. Johanson II, Charles James Francis, James Barbaree; her parents, and a grandson Charles Olin Bradford.
Survivors include her children, Charlotte West of Lawrenceville, Linda (Richard Bainbridge) Johanson of Cumming, Kenneth (Lorraine) Johanson of Snellville, and Frank T. (Debbie) Johanson III of Stuart, FL; her sister, Beverly Newman of Pensacola, Florida; her 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1 pm in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Lawton Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 pm until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
