Mrs. June Rhodes White, departed on April 20, 2012, to be with her Lord and Savior, with her family at her side. She was born on June 4, 1923, to the late Harry Rexford Rhodes and Ann Janet Rhodes McBroom. After attending school in Parson, Kansas, she worked with the U.S. Maritime Service in Washington, D.C. Her proudest moment was when she became a Registered Nurse in 1948. June was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Lendell; son Charles L. ; daughter, Peggy Ann; grandson, Lawson. A celebration of June's life will be held at 2:00 o'clock, Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Calvary Assembly of God, 5067 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA, 30338.
