

Kenneth Leigh Milton, Sr., 77 of Lawrenceville, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014. He was born in Birmingham, AL the son of the late Fred Robert and Lucille Dobb Milton. Ken was a proud veteran serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. He also was proud to be an Eagle Scout. He retired from Bellsouth as a Manager. Ken and his wife Ann were active members of the Tucker First United Methodist Church were they were members of the COMET class. He was also a member of the AT & T Pioneers. Ken was a trustee at Salem Campground. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Milton; his daughter-in-law, Karen Milton; his brother F.R. Milton, Jr.; and his first wife, Carol Pratt Milton. Survivors include his wife of 50 yrs, Elizabeth Ann McArthur Milton of Lawrenceville; his daughters, Laura Kitchen Moore of Lawrenceville, and Tammy Ogle of Franklin, IN; his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Leigh (Tonya) Milton, Jr. of Duluth; his sister, Judy Henderson of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Kevin Ogle, Shelby Milton, Tammy Harrison, Melinda Deida, Melanie Ningsanont, Kristy Ogle, John Ogle, Jerrel Ogle, and Natalie Milton; his great grandsons, Zachary Harrison, and Brantley Ningsanont. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 31 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church of Tucker with Rev. Jimmy Moor and Dr. Tom Elliott officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the church.
