Llewellyn Ucaster Clarke

Mr. Llewellyn U. Clarke was born September 6, 1935 to Theophilous Clarke(Uncle T) and Jestina Bonner(Naun) in St. Mary, Jamaica. He entered into rest on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Arbor Terrace of John’s Creek, Suwanee, Georgia.

Mr. Clarke married his first wife, Ms. Edna Clarke (who has gone on to be with the Lord) in 1960(England, UK) from this union three beautiful girls were born Anne, Janette and Barbara.

Mr. Clarke was married in 1980 to his second wife Ms. Valdrie Biggs. They divorced shy of 25 years.

Mr. Clarke worked in various nursing facilities in England in the 1960s. He worked in the Bronx, NY from the late 1960s to 2000s as a Registered Nurse(RN) in various hospitals and nursing homes, and as a Director of Nursing at Riverdale Nursing Home, Bronx, NY. He ended his professional career as a visiting nurse for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.

Mr. Clarke was a man of God. Before moving to Georgia, he was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in New York, NY for over 20 years. He also attended Green Pastures Christian Ministry while living in Atlanta, GA

Mr. Llewellyn U. Clarke leaves to cherish many fond memories of three loving and devoted daughters and three special sons-in-law; Mrs. Anne Clarke-Raysor(Glenn Raysor), Bronx, NY; Mrs. Janette Fletcher(Minister Vincent Fletcher), Duluth, GA and Mrs. Barbara Stephenson(Kirk Stephenson), Fayetteville, GA; five grandchildren, Matthew, Angelina, Brandon, Alexis and Samuel; four sisters, Mercilyn(Mercy) Benjamin(deceased), Myrtle(May) May Morrison(deceased), Evelyn(Lynn) Morrison(deceased), Violet(Vie) Phillips, Yorkshire, UK; three brothers – Emmanuel(Papa) Clarke(deceased), Vincent(Welcome) Clarke(deceased) and Waver Clarke(deceased); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Clarke was a polite, caring, generous and loving man. He blessed many loved ones when he greeted them with "Hi, baby" or "Hi sweetheart". He loved and lived for his children, grandchildren and all of his sons-in-law.
