Panayiotis "Pete" Theofanidis, of Dunwoody, died at his home on Sunday morning May 26, 2013 he was 84 years old. He was born on August 25, 1928 in Thessaloniki, Greece and he was the middle son of the late Christos and Pandora Fragelas Theofanidis. He studied and obtained his professional certification as a Master Tailor from a very prestigious school in Paris in 1957. He married his wife Zoe in Thessaloniki, Greece on August 8, 1965. Pete and Zoe had their first and only chlid on April 20, 1967. Pete immigrated to America, with his family, from Greece in 1970. He and his wife Zoe owned operated Pete's Tailoring and Alterations in Sandy Springs for 20 years. Mr. Theofanidis was a member of the Greek Cathedral of the Annunciation, Atlanta. He is survived by wife, Zoe Theofanidis; his daughter, Pandora Theofanidis; his granddaughter, Anastasia.
The Trisagion Service will be held on Tuesday May 28 from 6 to 8 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home and the funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 10 am at the Greek Cathedral of the Annunciation. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
