George Paul Wells Jr., 78, of Tucker, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2018, surrounded by family.
Paul was born on February 25th, 1940 in Atlanta to the late George Paul Wells Sr. and Margaret Jewett Wells. Paul married Frances Neel on February 8, 1969, and the couple raised two children, Jennifer (Wells) Lomas and Jeff Wells.
An Atlanta native, Paul graduated from North Fulton High School. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America. He attended Georgia State University and then served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 - 1966, where he was stationed in Scotland. After returning home, Paul had a successful career in sales until his retirement in 2006.
Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Frances (Neel) Wells; daughter Jennifer and her husband Scott Lomas; son Jeff and his wife Emily Wells; three grandchildren, Emily, Leah and Ryan Lomas; brother Sandy and his wife Judy Wells.
