Wesley Joseph Martin, 88, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away on January 16, 2012. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Joyce Ethelyn Mattox Martin. Wesley is survived by his daughter Debbie Murphy, son Jim Martin, grandchildren: Alison and Laura Murphy, and Erica and Wes Martin, all of Atlanta. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II and a graduate of Oglethorpe University. Wesley retired from the Woodman Company of Decatur, GA after many years of service. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by us all. As a long standing member of Embry Hills United Methodist Church, a memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Lee Fullerton will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
