William Lee Dunn, Sr. was born in Atlanta, GA on April 24, 1945 to the late Bennie and Florence Dunn. "Big Dunn" as he was affectionately known by many, attended Atlanta Public Schools and graduated from Carver Vocational High School. He was employed for Atlanta and DeKalb County Public Schools for over 34 years. On January 3, 2014, William was called home by God; his work was done.
In 1969, he united in marriage to Dorothy Ann Nelson. To this union 2 children were born, William L. Dunn, Jr. and Renee L. Dunn. William was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bennie and Ray Dunn. His memory will be cherished forever by his wife, Dorothy A. Dunn, son, William (Alfreeon) Dunn, Jr., daughter Renee, and a host of loving family and friends.
