

Aide Heidi Moran, 82, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith. Born in Douglas, Arizona on January 6, 1943, Heidi spent most of her life in Tucson, where she was a devoted mother, cherished friend, and proud member of her community.
Heidi was a woman of deep conviction and compassion. Her greatest passion was loving her family and friends. Her strong faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ guided her every step. She was a talented homemaker and a skilled professional. She served as a painting and coating technician and production specialist at Hughes Aircraft for 20 years.
Known for her warmth and vibrant spirit, Heidi was a phenomenal cook, a joyful dancer, and someone who found beauty in life's details especially jewelry, plants, shoes, and fast red sports cars. Her talent for decorating her home made every space she touched feel welcoming and full of life.
She was a proud member of the Lupus Foundation and an advocate for awareness and support. Heidi was preceded in death by her loving parents, Miguel and Margarita Valencia, and her beloved sisters, Delia Childers and Ana Luisa Arzate.
She is survived by her children: Diana Ahrend (Jim), Laura Basurto (Fernando), Margarita Corral, Joseph Anthony Moran (Nicole), Lisa Valdez, Erica Colon (Luis), Michelle Haro (Kate), Jessica Camacho, Eduardo Morales (Sonya), and Alyssa Colon. She was adored by her twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tucson, Arizona 85706, from noon to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Heidi requested donations be made to the Lupus Foundation of Southern Arizona at lupus-az.org.
Her light, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
