Viewing to be held at South Lawn Mortuary located at 5401 S. Park Ave, Tucson, Arizona followed by travel to The Southern Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery located at 1300 S. Buffalo Soldiers Trail Sierra Vista, Arizona. Procession intercepted at Mustang Corners, Whetstone, at 1030am by The American Legion Post #52 Riders who will provide escort to the cemetery.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lena Anna Gallanda, Daughter, Debra Galante (Bruce Bergstreser), Daughter, Karen Mapes (Randy Mapes), Son, Charles Gallanda, Daughter, (Judith Schmitt (Patrick Schmitt). He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Alfred served in the United States Air Force 3910th Air Police Sq APO 127. He completed his Air Police course in 1951 and then began active duty. From October 1953-March 1955 he served overseas in England.
