Alice E. Wells

Wells, Alice E., 91 born July 23, 1921 in Morris Plains, N.J., to George and Florence Baldwin. She passed away at her home on Thursday, November 1, 2012 with her family and caregivers by her side. Alice came to Tucson 62 years ago with her husband Robert who preceded her in death in 1996. Alice is survived by her loving and devoted sister Mary Baldwin, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of close and dear friends in Tucson, Mass and NJ. Alice graduated from high school in Morristown, NJ, and attended Business College to earn her diploma as an executive secretary. After moving to Tucson, she worked for the Pima County Justice Court for many years until her retirement in 1985. Alice was a life member of the Rincon Renegade # 18 and she held public office with the Fraternal Order of Police, Tucson Lodge #1 in the seventies. Alice will be remembered as women of integrity and conviction. She was proud of her family and the many friends she had in Tucson. Alice was a caring and devoted sister to Mary Baldwin who will forever cherish her memory. Memorial donations can be made to Casa De Los Ninos, 1101 N. 4th Ave, Tucson AZ 85705. Visitation will be held on Friday November 9, 2012 from 1:00pm – 2:00 pm. Graveside services will follow. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
