

Allan L. Anderson 76, passed into the light February 11, 2012. Born and raised in Erie, PA he had a beautiful life's journey with his most beloved wife, Carole Ann (Wassill) Anderson. He is survived by his daughter, Lorie L. Anderson Caballero, her husband, Mike Caballero and his two beloved grandsons, Beck Michael and Carter Grey; sister-in-law, Irene Anderson; in-laws William and Marlene Lawrence; niece, Julie (Anthony) Weaver and nephew, Joseph Anthony. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Hertha (Brandt) Anderson; brother, Harold Anderson and wife, Carole Ann. He served in the Air Force and continued a lifelong career working with electronics. He retired from the University of Arizona as a fiber optics engineer. Allan was an avid HAM radio operator (W6TZN) and a talented photographer and oil painter. He was involved with the professional organization, BICSI and the model airplane club in Tucson. He was most happy when going fast: he had his small craft pilot's license, rode a motorcycle and drove fast cars - loving to take road trips with his wife. He loved his dogs and was a great "horse show dad". Recently, his heart was won by his two grandsons, who loved their grandpa just as much.
