Went home to be with the Lord
Allen was born on October 14, 1939
In Philadelphia Pennsylvania moving to southern California as a toddler.
Where Allen met at married his wife of 60yrs. And raised his family.
Allen was employed at Zero manufacturing for many years until he got a job at
Hughes Aircraft/ Raytheon missile systems where he was a manufacturing Engineer until he Retired in 2006. After retiring Allen decided to Volunteer for the Oro Valley Police Dept. with the CVAP program
Which he absolutely loved doing from May 2009 to June 2017. Allen had a passion for Golf and loved to play he was also gifted in music where he began to play the Saxophone, Flute in high school where he marched in numerous parades and played in bands, he played at church for many years and began playing with an Alzheimer’s choir until he was not able to play anymore.
Allen is preceded in death by his Parents Warren and Florence Spooner and His Oldest Daughter Wendy Lynn Slater. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Lynn Spooner, Daughter Debra Jay Noon (Patrick), Son Obie Jay Spooner, Grandchildren Summer (Mike), Kimberly, Brian (Kelly), Cody, Brittany, Breana, Jordyn, Great Grandchildren Victoria (Jordan), Samantha, Michael, Cody, Emily, Arik, Caison, Keaton, Noah, Emma, Great Great Grandchildren Luna.
