Annette Marie Harrison

Annette Marie Harrison, age 97, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020. Annette was born March 22, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Everelda Valerius and Clarence Valerius. She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, Lester Harrison and her brothers, Clarence and Millard Valerius. She is survived by her brother David Earl, her daughters; Trudy Sheets, Leslie Purpura and Valerie Ciaccio (Chris); seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

She and Lester owned Harrison’s Appliance Service for many years. When they sold the business they moved to Prescott where she worked at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church as Parish Secretary and at St. Marks when they moved to Mesa. She retired when she was 74 and they moved back to Tucson. She continued to volunteer as Parish Secretary where needed.

She loved her family and pets dearly. Her greatest joy was seeing her family grow, from her first child to her great-great grandchildren. She was always there for important events in their lives. If you knew her, then undoubtedly you received a card from her at some point, whether a happy occasion, condolence, encouragement, or accomplishment, she always let you know she was thinking about you... with Love and Prayers, Mother/Nana. She was a person of deep faith which helped her through difficult times. Her loss is felt deeply and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date due to Covid-19.
