Armin Manizadeh, age 29, was born on July 7th, 1991 in Mashhad, Iran. He died on November 1st, 2020. Armin was the second child of Behnaz and Ramin, and the younger brother of Aida. He lived in Iran until he was nine years-old then he moved with his family to live in Turkey for a couple of years before moving to Rockford, Illinois in 2002. In 2010, he moved to Tucson, Arizona with his family.
Armin loved to be in nature. He enjoyed going on hikes and taking the road less traveled. His adventurous side always ensured that he made the most out of every trip he took. His hikes would take hours taking him into areas where other people might not take advantage of. He would spend many months at times working for conservation to cut down trees to prevent the dangers of wildfires. He loved animals and animals naturally gravitated towards him. He always played with dogs and even birds would sometime randomly land on his voluminous hair. At one point, Armin lived and worked in Alaska and he loved all the wildlife and the nature that surrounded him. Armin enjoyed playing guitar and sometimes he would play soothing music that he composed himself for his family. His creativity extended beyond music; from sketching beautiful drawings to making tools with machinery.
Armin was a kind and gentle soul who cared about his family and friends. He would always make sure to help anyone he saw even if it was inconvenient to him. A simple favor for his sister that involved vacuuming the floor turned into a volunteer 8-hour task of deep cleaning all of the carpet in the house. This was not surprising as he was a very neat and clean person by nature. He was quiet at first, but when he gets to know you, he can talk about so many things. That is because he loved to learn and explain how things worked, from machinery to avionics, to robotics and astronomy. He was such an honest person that when he tried to lie, his upper lip would wiggle so bad that you can tell. Armin would always make sure to greet his family with a kiss on the cheek or forehead to show how much he loved them. He had a good sense of humor and would always try to light up even the gloomiest conversations with his jokes. Armin was a great son, a brother, cousin, nephew, grandson and a friend. He will be dearly missed by all those who loved him.
