Barbara Salazar , 64, passed away in Tucson on August 04, 2024. Barbara was born in Tucson, AZ on January 12, 1960 to MaryHelen and Efren Garcia. She graduated from Pueblo High School.
Barbara was a beloved sister to her brothers George (Pam) Garica, Ruben (Loren) Garcia and the late Efren (Sylvia) Garcia.
Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and caring for others. She was most proud to be a mother and grandmother. Barbara is survived by her three children, Elizabeth, Ruben, and Vanessa who remember her as a loving and nurturing soul. Her five grandchildren Isaiah, Juan Carlos, Anthony, Rolando, and Luna-Avi will carry her legacy of kindness and joy.
Predeceased by her parents and her brother Efren, Barbara's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her family, friends, and all those that knew her. By her presence this world was a better place.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, followed by a prayer service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
