Brian Keith Hoots

Brian’s life was a testament to both love and dedication. He wed Suzanne Weise in 1989 in Carlinville, Illinois creating a lifetime of boundless happiness and immeasurable love shared between the two.

Brian is survived by his wife Suzanne of Tucson, Arizona, daughter Lauren Hoots (Christian) of Grapevine, Texas, son Matthew Hoots (Molly) of Houston Texas, mother Dorothy Schnitker (Michael) of Lake Ozark, Missouri, father Thomas Hoots (Becky) of Concord, Illinois, and sister Lori Bly of Springfield, Illinois. His children carry his legacy of kindness and dedication he displayed every day.

Brian was unrivaled in his work ethic, being a graduate of Illinois College, and produced an award winning business career spanning 8 years with Federal Express, and 30 years of leadership with PepsiCo/Frito Lay. Brian leaves behind countless friendships with his co-workers and a reputation of hard work and unmatched camaraderie.

Brian was a man of many hobbies, his favorite of which was traveling the world with his wife, experiencing a variety of cultures and traditions. In his free time, he enjoyed following both the New York Yankees and New York Jets.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held in the coming weeks in Jacksonville, Illinois. May he rest in everlasting peace, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, love, and countless memories that will be cherished forever.
