Charles Henry Forste

Charles H. Forste (Chuck), age 63, resident of Tucson since 1994, died of cancer on Friday, August 26, 2011. He was born March 15, 1948 in Pomona, CA to Charles B. and Wanda Forste. He is survived by his wife Susan Forste, son Robert Forste of Huntington Beach, CA, son Brandon Forste of Tucson and step-daughter and son-in-law Julie and George Elms of Tucson. He is also survived by two grandsons, James Haydon and Izaac Elms of Tucson, sister Sheryl Jenkins of Columbia, SC and mother Wanda Forste of Columbia, SC. He is predeceased by his father, Charles B. Forste and his older sister Kayanna Staley. Chuck worked for General Dynamics/Hughes/Ratheon for 40 years, and he loved his work. He also enjoyed golfing with his buddies from work and spending time with his family. A memorial Service will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 at 10:00am at East Lawn Palms Cemetery officiated by Dr. Andy Laurie, followed by a reception at Tucson Community Church at 8355 E. Tanque Verde Ave., Tucson. Internment at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Cemetery, 520-885-6741. Chuck's family would like to thank our church family and friends for all their prayers and well wishes.
