Where do I start: I met Clara and Wesley by answering an office request for Tupperware replacement's, I made an appointment, and when I arrived I was made to feel as though I was a long lost friend What an impression they both made on me.    We would continue to get together whenever they were in their home in Tucson, she would come home from her trips with Tupperware items I had never seen before, very original pieces. Clara was one of the most Memorable ladies I had the pleasure of meeting and have as a wonderful customer in my nearly thirty years selling Tupperware in Tucson and surrounding area.

I am so thankful that I was able to spend some time with her at Laura's wedding. I had the opportunity to let her know how much I loved her and how much her wisdom and grace meant to me. She will forever be missed and valued for the indelible mark she left in my life. She was such an inspiration in her faith, the way she cared for others and her wonderful sense of humor! Blessings to you all as you say goodbye.

We all love you Grandma and will miss you greatly.  Every time we were together we shared a lot of fun and laughter.

I will always remember how a warm and caring lady welcomed two little boys into her heart and home as her very own grandchildren.  As much as we will all miss Grandma, she has left behind 95 years' worth of priceless memories.  Here are just a few of mine:

-Hours and hours spent around the kitchen table in an RV playing "Uno"

-Her dog treats that were so delicious they were clearly made for children, too

-Her boisterous laugh; how could we not laugh along with her?

-The row of styrofoam heads on her dresser with their jaunty wigs that looked just like Grandma's hair!

-The way she could spin a gripping yarn from everyday events 

-The vast store of embarrassing stories she had about her three children (that she frequently shared with her grandchildren!)

-Her love of chihuahuas, and those charmingly ridiculous sweaters she would dress them in

-Her protectiveness of her loved ones, like a mama bear with her cubs

-The birthday and holiday cards she sent, right up until the very end, with their handwritten notes liberally sprinkled with ha-ha! and smiley faces

Grandma was that rare bird: a sweet little old lady who was as tough as any ten lumberjacks.  She was a woman of unshakable faith, with an unbreakable spirit. She lived life on her terms, and has left behind a rich legacy that spans three generations and counting.  Rest well, Grandma, you've earned it.

During my last conversation with Mom, she mentioned to me that Dad (her husband) had been coming to visit her during the night.  "Do you think he'll come tonight?" she asked me.  

I told her I didn't know for sure, but I explained to her that Dad was her angel now.  "One of these nights," I told her, "when Dad comes to visit, he's going to take you home to heaven with him."

"Oh," she said.  After a pause, she added "Thank you."

I told her good-bye, and as I left the room, I looked back at her one last time.  Her face wore a look of peace and contentment that I will always remember.  It was the last time I saw her.  Shortly thereafter, she followed Dad home to heaven.

Grandma,
When I was a kid, I loved calling you on the phone because when you'd answer you'd say "Nyello"!  It made me laugh every time.  Then I'd say, "Grandma, it's me Laura".  And you'd say, "Lara? Oh Lara!"  Only you could say my name like that.
There are so many things you taught me like how to sew and how to play Rummikub.  But the greatest thing you taught me was how to really love someone and serve them.  When you loved someone Grandma, they got all of you. Unconditionally, which meant they'd hear about it too when you weren't pleased. :)  But regardless, you loved them.  You sent cards, meals and prayers, and you gave of yourself.
I am so so thankful that my children knew your love.  Our time with you last month will live in my heart forever.  The blessings you spoke over my family, and the love you poured out on us, are priceless.  Only you could tell your great-grandchildren how much you love them and how precious they are and in the next breath tell me, "Now Lara, you be careful now, or someone will snatch them up!"  
Oh Grandma!  I miss you.  I am so looking forward to the day you introduce me to all your friends in Glory!  I love you.

Grandma,
You were one of the toughest ladies I knew.  No matter what obstacles came your way, you always came out of them with flying colors.  You lived 95 awesome years and have so much to be proud of.  You have wonderful children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and you never once forgot to send all of us cards even up to your last day.  Every time I would hear you laugh it would put a smile on my face.  We will miss you grandma.  Tell grandpa we love and miss him too.  
The memories we shared will be in our minds and hearts forever.

Mom,
We wish you peace, your time here on earth is done. You have joined Dad in Heaven.  Give him a kiss and hug from me. You raised three loving children and they raised your wonderful grandchildren. Now your great grandchildren are growing into sweet little people too. What a wonderful legacy you and Dad have left. But now your generation is gone only to be held in our memories. 
I am so glad that Don and I were able to be with you during your last few weeks. We enjoyed taking care of you, talking with you, and even joking with you.  You will always be remembered for a wonderful laugh and sense of humor. How we loved your smile. 
On my last conversation with you, I told you all the things I wanted you to keep in your heart. So now I will just say that I am grateful for you and proud to be your daughter. 
Because we can no longer be together, all of us will keep you and all our memories in our hearts and minds. So many memories. What a gift we had.
