

Born on July 14, 1939 in Earle Arkansas, Mr. Lewis was the third child born to Albert and Willodean Lewis. In 1959 he joined the United States Army where he served his country honorably. After leaving the service he moved to Somerville Tennessee where he married his wife, Billie Ruth Markle in 1963 and started a family. In 1978 Mr. Lewis moved his family to Tucson Arizona where he raised his children and made this town his home. He was employed as a mechanic for John Deere and RDO for more than thirty years and left the company in 2007 where he spent the next few years focusing on retired life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He was a loving husband, dedicated father, and devoted grandfather.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Billie Ruth; daughter, Karen Livingston; son, David (Cimmon) Lewis; sister, Inez Provencio; sister, Nettie (JC) Claunch; brother, Farley (Debbie) Lewis; granddaughters, Georgianna (Charles) Manzanares, and Allora Lewis; grandson, Andrew Lewis; great grandson, Carlos Manzanares; and many other nieces, nephews, and close family friends .
Absent from the body but present with The Lord:
We will forever cherish the time we had with you and the memories you helped us make. Your bashful grin and the twinkle in your eyes will be deeply missed. Our family will never be the same without you. Until we meet again. . . We love you Paw Paw.
