Tiff, as he was affectionately known, was a part of the Tucson community, off and on, for over 55 years. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in General Business in 1963. Shortly thereafter, he was drafted into the U.S. Army. He attended OCS and Airborne but the bulk of his 6 years of service was spent with Army Intelligence, in Europe. He was honorably discharged as a Captain.
Considering a career with the U.S. government, he earned a master's degree in International Relations while still in the service. Deciding otherwise, he and his family returned to the U.S. and Tiff took a position with IBM for 5 years in computer sales. He then moved to Coldwell Banker in commercial real estate sales. After 3 years with Coldwell Banker, he formed a commercial real estate development partnership with two other Coldwell Banker employees, namely, Bassett, Hayden and Ray. Over the next 25 years, BHR developed a number of shopping centers and other commercial developments that service the Tucson community today. In 1995, Tiff migrated to Southern Colorado and developed three condominium projects in Telluride and a 417-unit golf course community in Montrose, named Cobble Creek.
With respect to awards, Tiff was named one of 5 officers of IBM 100% Club due to his sales record in his first year with the company. He was also named "Rookie of the Year" in his initial year with Coldwell Banker.
Tiff was a long-time fan and supporter of the University of Arizona athletics, especially men's basketball. He and his wife, of 62 years were also avid travelers. They are part of a unique group that can say that they have traveled to over 100 countries and have walked on all 7 continents.
Tiff is survived by, the love of his life, Joanne. His daughter's Kelly, Kathy and Kim. His sons-in-law, Randy, Craig and John. His grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew, Nicole and Ryan. His neice, Christine and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from Joanne's side of the family.

We ask that you remember Tiff not for the way his life ended but for the way it was lived and for the impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
