Curtis Thompson, age 68 of Painesville, passed away on September 3, 2024 at his home in Tucson, AZ. He was born on September 12, 1955 in Crawfordsville, Arkansas to the late Herman and Ernestine (nee: Rhodes) Thompson. Curtis served in the Navy after graduating from Harvey High School and after his service he worked many jobs over the years which included the Ohio Department of Transportation, Fasson and being an over the road truck driver which allowed him to travel all over America. He enjoyed many things such as playing softball and watching his favorite sports. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandson Keon.
Curtis is survived by his children, Jeremy, James, Johnathen and Clarissa along with his extended children Raye, Jeffery and Dione; his grandson Keon; siblings Arleen and Michael; and lifelong friends Edgar Hilliard Jr., and John Tucker, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and his extended grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother James Albert Thompson.
