

Daniel L. Arrington was released from his Earthly body on Veteran’s Day, Monday, November 11, 2013, while in hospice care at the SAVAHCS in Tucson, AZ, with his wife at his side. He joined his parents in Heaven. He was born August 8, 1943, in Laurel, MS, to Forrest M and Lucille (Walters) Arrington.
He was a Viet Nam era Army Veteran. He started out with the 82nd Airborne; an injury prevented him from continuing with the 82nd. He was later trained as a Medic and spent time in Korea as a Medic.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Elizabeth “Lisa” (Moore) Arrington of Tucson, AZ; sons Tracey Arrington of Apple Valley, CA, and William “Billy” (Karin) Arrington of Lakewood, WA, Step-sons; James Reeves, of Tucson, AZ, and Richard (Michele) Reeves of Tucson, AZ. Four grandchildren also survive; Darby Arrington, Richy, Bailey, and Kirsten Reeves. His sister Nell Adcock of Huntsville, AL, also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, F.M. “Jim” Arrington.
Special thanks to all the staff at the SAVAHCS who treated Daniel for their loving care and commitment to his comfort and wellbeing. They shall never be forgotten.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date with burial at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
