

Deborah Melody Alexander Cowles 76 born November 20, 1939 in Cardington, Ohio died Friday December 18, 2015 at Oro Valley Hospital in Tucson Az. She was the daughter to the late Clifford E and Ruth Metheny Alexander. Deborah was married for 53 years. Surviving is her husband William A. Cowles of Tucson Az. 2 sons William A. Cowles II of Casa Grande, Az and Craig Allen Cowles and wife Pennie Cowles of Plainfield, In. her sister Lois Foster-Hughes and husband Bill of Piketon, Ohio. A Niece Tammy O’Donnell and husband Kevin of Valrico, Florida and Nephew Dan Shepard and wife Debbie of Gilbert, Arizona. She had a granddaughter Jennifer Renee Morrison and 2 Grandsons Timothy Scott Morrison, and Craig Allen Cowles II and wife Brandi Cowles. She also had 7 Great Grand Children and 1 GreatGreat Grand Child.
Deborah graduated from Piketon High School in Piketon, Ohio with the class of 1957. She then spent the next 20 years as a loving mother and housewife. She then attended Pima Community College and was certified as a Pharmacy Technician. She spent 10 years working as a Pharmacy Technician then as an Over Seas call Operator at Convergys in Tucson Az until she had to retire due to her disabilities. She attended Catalina Lutheran Church when her health permitted her.
Deborah was preceded in death of her parents and 2 brothers Clifford and Gary Alexander. And her sister Lana Alexander Shepard.
Viewing will be held at Catalina Lutheran Church at 1:00 pm on January 15, 2016. Services at the church will follow at 2:00 pm. Committal will be held at 3:00 pm at East Lawn Palms Cemetery in Tucson, Az.
