Delfina Molina

Delfina Molina, a beloved and devoted matriarch, passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 100. Born on August 5, 1925, Delfina was a resident of Tucson, Arizona, where she lived a life full of humor, love, and dedication to her family.

Delfina is survived by her daughters, Rosalina Viramontes, Julieta Viramontes, Maria Oralia Ornelas, and Martha Molina. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Magdalena Navarrete, Miguel Navarrete, Francisca Navarrete, Jesus Campa, Damian Maldonado, Carla Saenz, Carina Saenz, Gabriela Saenz, Elizabeth Francisca Saenz, Steven Yanez, Yvonne Yanez, and Maria Andrews. Delfina was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, including Ilze Miramonte, Iliana Miramonte, Jesus Eduardo Miramonte, Ana Maria Campa, Raylani Henderson, Marcos Solano, Ariana Ferguson, Ethan Ferguson, Benicio Cubillas, Ximena Esqueda, Zoey Burns, Gabriel Moore, Kingsley Villaseñor, Barett Villaseñor, Jesus Enrique Molina, Fernanda Molina, Francisco Campa, Isac Campa, Venice Loar, Damian Maldonado, Julian Maldonado, Christian Maldonado, Alice Maldonado, and Andrea Maldonado. Additionally, she leaves behind great-great-grandchildren Julian Hopkins, Kamil Hopkins, Isabella Hopkins, Dannian Cardenas, Daniela Cardenas, Penelope Montijo, Reily Dunn, and Pedro Mathias Molina.

Known for her humorous and easy going nature, Delfina loved music and dancing. Saturdays were often filled with the sounds of Mexican Oldies Music by Vicente Fernández and Lucha Villa as she cleaned with gusto. Her culinary skills were legendary, and she was renowned for making the best tamales, chile colorado, and chile rellenos. Delfina shared her love through cooking, adoring her grandchildren, and always bringing her family together. Her bright disposition and ability to see the best in life left a lasting impact on those who knew her.

Visitation will be held on December 18, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn, located at 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706-2520. A Rosary will take place the same evening from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the same venue. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for December 19, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1220 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. A reception will follow from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn.

Delfina Molina will be remembered for her smile, her love of family, and her ability to bring family together to share and create memories. She will be dearly missed. She leaves a legacy of love that will continue to inspire her family for generations to come.
