

Delores Ann Marks (previously Shepherd), 82 went home to be with her Lord on July 9, 2020. Dee was born July 24, 1937 in Corning, AK and raised in Kansas City, KS. She moved to Arizona in 1956, residing in Phoenix, Flagstaff and then Tucson. Her working years were spent in dental and medical offices; her last and favorite position before retirement was Health Assistant at Smith Elementary School on DM Air Base. She was a woman of strong faith who loved worshipping with her church family at Rincon Baptist Church. Dee’s greatest pleasures included travel and spending time with family, near and far.
Dee was proceeded in death by her parents, Adolphus and Dinkie Stokes and 9 siblings: Hazel, Monroe, Virginia, Rudy, Eurona, Dean, Clyde, Wayne, and Gladys. She is survived by her brother Conrad. Dee also greatly cherished staying in touch with her many nieces and nephews.
She leaves two daughters: Tonnie (Dan) Hurley and Beth (Mario) Torre; three granddaughters: Erinne (Seth) Hammond, Katie (Jorge) Clavel and Rachel (Chris) Enriquez. She also leaves six adored great-grandchildren: Abby, Jackson, Olive, Bonnie, Felix, and Finn.
Memorial contributions can be made in Dee Mark’s name to The Alzheimer’s Association. It is a wonderful way to remember those who cannot.
