I remember Mrs. Carrasco with such fondness and admiration.  

Mrs. Carrasco was one of those virtually perfect moms who really did do it all – she worked outside the home, raised a family, cooked homemade meals (yes, I still remember her yummy homemade tamales), kept an organized home, and was always pleasant to me.   

I admired her demeanor and her attitude.  She was kind, ethical, energetic, and had a ‘can do’ attitude. 

Mrs. Carrasco loved her husband, her children, her family, and her friends.  Mrs. Carrasco loved her life.   

Mrs. Carrasco is an inspiration to me to remember what is truly important in life (family and friends) and to focus on all the good things you have in your life right now.
