Emilio is survived by his wife of 16 years, Carolina; his mom, Rita; his children, Michael, Cierra, Edmundo, Ariana and Jennifer; 2 grandchildren, Nyomi and Sophia; his dog Chico; his Uncle Art and numerous other family members.
Emilio graduated from the University of Arizona, majoring in Education. He was a school teacher for 23 years, teaching 5th grade. He loved going to all of the U of A football and baseball games. He was so proud of his U of A teams. He was a big Cowboys fan. He loved going dancing. On the weekend, you could always find him at the swap meet. He enjoyed helping people. Emilio was the happiest grandpa ever. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He enjoyed going on walks in the evening with his grandchildren and wife.
Visitation for Emilio will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Rd. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 4p-8p with a reception from 6:30pm-9:30pm. The family will have a private burial service.
