

Estroberto was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Maria Luisa Sonoqui. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Enriqueta Sonoqui; his children Ana Valencia (Manuel), Fabian Sonoqui, and Luis “Kiki” Sonoqui; his sister, Julieta Robles (Reginaldo†); and his brothers Francisco “Pancho” Sonoqui and Jorge Sonoqui. He also leaves behind grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were a great source of pride and joy in his life.
Estroberto immigrated to the United States with the dream of providing a better life for his family. A self-made man, he worked tirelessly as an upholsterer and was known for his strong work ethic, kindness, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He loved dancing, laughter, and spending time with family and friends. His passion for baseball was unmatched—whether cheering for the Arizona Diamondbacks, local teams like the Toros and Sidewinders, or Mexican baseball leagues, he would watch baseball whenever he could.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with a rosary at 11:00 a.m. His ashes will be buried following the rosary at 12:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided immediately after the burial at the reception hall at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave.
Estroberto will be remembered for his love of family, his generosity, his joy for life, and the legacy of hard work and love he leaves behind.
