He was preceded in death by his father, Estroberto Sonoqui.
Fabian is survived by his beloved son, Fabian J. Sonoqui, his mother, Enriqueta, his sister, Ana Valencia (Manuel), his brother, Enrique "Kiki" Sonoqui.
Fabian also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles that loved him for his kind heart and sense of humor.
Fabian was born in Santa Ana, Sonora but was raised in Tucson. He attended Pueblo High School where he excelled on the school's soccer team, earning the nickname "Pele".
A huge sports fan, Fabian would enjoy hanging around with friends and family cheering on his beloved Wildcats, his Dallas Cowboys, and Cincinnati Reds, at least until we would say "they're going to lose". Regardless of how he felt at the time, he remained loyal to his teams, family and friends.
Fabian's loyalty was well known. He was always willing to help out in any way he could, without hesitation. Fabian had one of the biggest hears a person could have.
We are all proud of Fabian. He fought long and hard, loved deeply and never stopped trying. When his body couldn't fight any longer, he found his rest.
Though he is gone too soon, he will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
