

Frank O. Manzanedo, 72, entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2016. Our Lord Jesus Christ put an end to his suffering after a long hard battle with his illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus F. Manzanedo, step-father, Adolfo Patino Sr., daughter, Leticia B. Manzanedo, grandson Julius Santiago Trejo, brother Ramon Patino. Survived by his loving wife, Gloria A., mother, Maria O. Patino, step-mother, Alejandrina Manzanedo; sons, Frank M.(Anna) and Gilbert A. Manzanedo; daughter, AnnaLisa (Richard) Ramirez; brothers, Rosario (Francisca), Roberto (Norma), Jesus, Alejandro (Rosa), Martin(Isabel) Manzanedo; Adolfo (Orda), Cruz (Cecilia), Richard (Lily) Patino; sisters, Armida (Salvador Huerta) Cota, Maria Luisa (Sonny) DeMara, Guadalupe Lopez, Ana Martinez, Graciela (Jose) Osuna, Linda (William) Grimes, Lupe (Ray Mensing) Patino, Rosa (J.R. Canez) Patino, Josie Patino, Christina (Max) McCollum, Marie Patino; grandchildren, Thomas Garcia, Isabelle Manzanedo, Emmanuel McKinney Jr, Alexis T. Young, Conrad, Anthony, Leticia, Thomas, Matthew, Richard Ramirez, Sara Lazette Manzanedo, Clinton, Monique Brown; great grandsons, Emius McKinney Carey, Anthony Ramirez Jr., Joseph Brown, great granddaughters to be, Senise Alianna Masters, Julissa Nevaeh Ramirez. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was a native Tucsonan, born December 6,1943. Attending Tucson schools, later became a house painter as his profession for several years. A member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish, he joined the Knights of Columbus as a 1st Degree Knight July 1st,1988, serving in different positions and earning his 4th Degree April 27, 1997, he was also a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, and a Director of the altar Servers at St. Margaret's and assisted with the Posadas. In later years he became involved in community service on the westside, served as president of Silvercroft Neighborhood Association, and was awarded a Copper Letter of Appreciation from the City of Tucson in October of 1999. He was a very caring and loving man, had a great sense of humor, loved his children and family unconditionally and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage with his wife Gloria in November. Our thanks to the doctors and staff of Banner University Medical Center 4W and 4NE for their care; Dependable Home Health nurse “Dr.” Chris Arslanian, and doctors and staff of St. Mary’s Hospital. Visitation will be held Friday August 26, 5 to 9pm, rosary at 7pm. at Funeraria Del Angel, 7 E. University Blvd. Mass will be offered Saturday, August 27, 10am at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church, 801 N. Grande Ave. Burial will be at Holy Hope Cementary. He will be dearly missed by all.
