George Alberto Hernandez

He met and married the love of his life Isabel Hernandez on 4/3/1976 and went on to have five children. He worked as a Service man for GCR for over 30 years, he retired in 2019. He took great pride in his work and made great friendships. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards camping and fishing.

Proceeded in death by father, Oscar Hernandez; Mother Maria Quiroz, brother Jaimito and Oscar and sister Edith, and daughter Edelia “DeeDee” Hernandez

Survived by wife, Isabel Hernandez; brother David and sister Sandra, daughters, Melissa (Michael), Angelica (Kevin) and sons George Jr. (Christine) and Jaime (Erika); Granddaughters, Isabel (Marco) and Iris and grandsons, John Jr. (Clarissa), Aaron, Jordan (Stephanie), Julian, George III(Seren), Nathan, Jaime Jr, Jalen and Jayce and seven great grand kids.

A rosary will occur Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. Luncheon following at Café Santa Rosa 2615 S. Sixth Ave Tucson, AZ 85713.

George will be greatly missed by his family and all who know him.
