12/8/1971 - 12/25/2021
George “Georgie” Montenegro, father of 4, was surrounded by genuine love in his last moments of life. He passed away unexpectedly in his home; in his roommates arms, on Saturday, December 25th, 2021 at the age of 50, in Tucson Arizona.
He was born in Tucson on December 8th, 1971 to his parents Bonnie and Eddie, and grew up with his sisters.
George is survived by his parents Yvonne “Bonnie” Templeton and Eduardo “Eddie” Montenegro, his children, Elijah, Noah, Mikaylah Joy, and Micah, his granddaughter Bella, his four sisters, Krista, Marisa, Erika, and Vanessa, and his Tio Steve, who was more like a brother to him. He is also survived by many other Tio’s and Tia’s, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
He was a lifelong Marvel, DC comic fan, and Star Wars fan, and his favorite character was Spider-Man. Before George passed away he was able to see the newly released Spider-Man: No Way Home movie with his children and his Tio Steve.
He was influenced by his family to never stop fighting and until his last breath; he didn’t stop. Though it was such a short lived time that his family got to spend with him, he spent it feeling loved, seen, and heard. We know the fight to get to Heaven was a long, tough one, but we have peace in our hearts knowing that he is in the arms of his Nana Stella; he was her favorite. Even though we cannot physically feel his presence anymore; we feel him in our hearts, and we celebrate his life here on earth.
