Glen David Shorter Jr.

Glen D. Shorter Jr. was a caring brother, uncle, mentor, and friend. He left this world unexpectedly on August 14, 2022. His commitment to family, and his positive attitude has left a beacon of light for all to follow.

Glen was born in Tucson, AZ to Glen D. Shorter Sr. and Connie Y. Shorter. He achieved a successful career in the customer service industry as a team leader. His kind heart, and great sense of humor has touched many; making a significant impact in the community.

He enjoyed music, movies, gaming, technology, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends. His niece, nephew, and cousins adored him tremendously. They were thrilled whenever he was around, and loved spending time with him.

Glen is survived by his father Glen D. Shorter Sr.; sisters Kendra (Victor) Best, Shakiskea Shorter; brother Quinton Shorter; niece Constance Best; nephew Victor Best Jr.; and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother Connie Y. Shorter.

A funeral service for Glen will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
