Greg was born on April 20, 1948 and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts. Growing up in the local YMCA, he was an avid swimmer and football player. His talent on the field eventually earned him a position as quarterback for the Cobras, a semi-professional football team in Massachusetts. Greg earned a Master's in Education, taught at Thayer Academy for more than 25 years, and even spent time managing a glass business. Over the course of his life, he served as a teacher and football coach for over 40 years.
In 2017, he moved to Tucson with his wife Marian and was active in Passion Church and the Christ Community Church.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents in Heaven, Robert "Hank" Sabine and Virginia "Ginny" Sabine, siblings Diane and Bob (his best friend). He is succeeded by his wife, Marian Adams Paugh; children Jaime, Shane, Carly, and Danielle; Grandchildren Bodhi, Piper, Kinley, and Jasper; and siblings Marc, Peggy, and Jennifer.
Greg will be fondly remembered for his giving spirit, and his ceaseless love for God, his wife, children and grandchildren.
