Avis de décès de Gunnar Robert Dale
AUX SOINS DE

Desert Rose Heather Cremation & Burial

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Gunnar Robert Dale, who left this world far too soon on September 17, 2025, due to a tragic motorcycle accident. Born on December 15, 2000, in Kansas City, Kansas, Gunnar was a vibrant soul whose light shone brightly for 24 years.

Gunnar was the beloved son of Shannon Dale and her husband Kevin McGee, as well as his father William (Chuck) Dale. He grew up surrounded by love and laughter, and his warmth and charisma touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Chrissy Smith, and his uncle, Loren.

Gunnar is survived by a loving family that includes his brothers, Keegan Dale and William Dale. He cherished his role as an uncle to his niece and nephews, Ottis, Skyler (Margie), and Keegan Jr., and he adored spending time with them. Gunnar was also deeply connected to his extended family, which included his grandparents Michele Krause (Franklin), Robert (Bob) Krause, Daniel McGee, Joyce, and Dave Zaremski, as well as his grandfather William (Bill) Dale. He held dear the memories created with his cousins, Melissa, Britany, and Robert (Bobby) Krause, and he enjoyed the camaraderie of his uncles, Bob Krause and Chris (Molly) Krause. Gunnar’s network of friends was vast, and he formed countless lasting bonds throughout his life.

Gunnar's educational journey began in the Livonia school district in Livonia, New York, where he showcased his natural curiosity and zest for life. He then moved to Texas, where he graduated from Los Fresnos High School in May of 2020. Fueled by a desire to serve his country, Gunnar joined the United States Air Force right out of high school, taking on the Munitions MOS. He was stationed in Tucson, Arizona, and had the honor of being deployed to Dubai and Jordan during his service. Gunnar was proud to have been honorably discharged in February 2025.

In his professional life, Gunnar was currently employed at Geico and had aspirations for a career in law enforcement, having recently applied to various positions. His dedication to helping others extended beyond his career aspirations; he was an active member of his community, volunteering at local animal shelters where he spent time walking and caring for the animals. His love for animals was further exemplified by his continuous donations to the zoo, a testament to his compassionate nature.

Gunnar had a passion for motorcycles that defined much of his life. An avid rider, he found joy not only in riding but also in the art of repairing, buying, and selling various scooters, motorcycles, and mopeds. His enthusiasm for these "toys" was infectious, and he often shared this love with friends and family.

He was a kind, caring, and fun-loving young man who brought joy and laughter wherever he went. Gunnar’s wit and charisma made him magnetic; he could strike up a conversation with anyone, leaving a lasting impression on their hearts. Those who knew him will remember him as a beautiful soul, a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Gunnar Robert Dale’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will continue to inspire those he left behind. As we mourn his loss, we celebrate his life and the countless memories that will forever warm our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Gunnar. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
