Harry “Pete” Peterson, age 98 of Tucson, Arizona passed away on February 19, 2018. He was born in Ontario, Canada on August 28, 1919. Harry became a naturalized citizen and joined the Army during World War II. He was stationed in Europe and worked as a construction engineer, building roads and bridges for our troops abroad. He attained the rank of Staff SGT. and received numerous accommodations and medals for his efforts during his enlistment. Harry met and married Jeanne Levy from Hoboken, NJ shortly before enlisting. As a couple they moved to Tucson in 1947 and established their residence there. Harry “Pete” was very well known in the automotive sales industry for a period of 35 years. He is survived by his sons, Steven E. and Robert W. (Joan) Peterson; his granddaughter, Taryn (Edward) Peterson Rivera; grandson, Todd Peterson; great grandson, Edward Robert “Robbie” Rivera and great granddaughter, Ella Jo Lee Rivera.
