

Beloved Son, Father, Fiancé, Brother, Nephew, Tio, Cousin, and Friend taken too soon.
He was a wonderful father who was always preparing food for us and enjoyed experimenting with new recipes. Spaghetti and Sopita’s were two of our favorite things that our dad used to make for us, we will miss our favorite foods. He adored spending time with his brothers and family, we were incredibly lucky and grateful to have had his love. We will cherish every second we had with him, and we will talk about and remember him for a very long time.
Rocky Point was his favorite place to be with Laura, it was peaceful and relaxing for him, they frequently visited Rocky Point as this was one of their favorite destinations.
Jesse’s magnetic personality resulted in many friends in his life. There’s no doubt he was “The life of the party!”. He loved his friends very much and made friends everywhere he went. Those who knew him describe him as a very funny, loving, caring and at times sarcastic.
His love of football started as a youth. He was proud to be part of the Rams Youth Football association where he won a championship as a player in 1995 and as a coach in 2005. He was a decorated youth athlete. He went on to play high school football with Sunnyside High School and Pueblo High School, graduating from Pueblo High School 2001 – He was our “GUERO WARRIOR” !!
He was a fanatic when it came to his Dallas Cowboys.!!
He took great pride in seeing his father Jesse perform and sing on stage. As a child Guero would often attend gigs with his Dad. One of Jesse Sr’s favorite memories is Guero waiting for him to go on break so he could buy him a Shirley Temple.
As a warehouse manager at Copperstate, he was an extremely dedicated employee who took great pride in maintaining a well-organized warehouse.
Preceded in death by Nana & Tata Ortiz, Cousin-Fernando “Fatboy” Galvan.
He will be missed by his love Laura, “Daddy’s Girls” Jazlyn & Janessa Ortiz, Father Jesse Sr. (Angie), Mother Lupita Ramirez-Kakar (Abraham), Brothers Sergio (Rosana) Ortiz, Niece Viana Ortiz, Nephew Sergio Jr. Ortiz, and Estevan (Carmen) Ortiz, Sister Lupita Duarte, Bonus daughter Clarisa, Grandchildren Adrian & Melly
Jesse “Guero” will be missed by his extended family, Tia’s Irma (Tony) Tarango and Imelda Galvan, Tio Joey (Renee) Ortiz. Cousins, Carisa (Lance) Henry, Jenna Ortiz, Joe II (Brittany) Ortiz and Tony Tarango Jr. Extended Ortiz family, Andrew & Sianna Henry, Romeo & Damian Galvan, Jay & Janee Ortiz, and Romero Family.
