He graduated from Pueblo High School in 1977 before going on to serve in the United States Navy. He worked for the City of Tucson for 31 years before retiring as an Arborist.
George loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on plants and trees. But most of all, George loved his family.
He is survived by his wife Rita, sons Jorge Jr., Adan, Juan, and Fernando; Grandchildren Octavio and Florizel; Brothers Alberto (Dora) and Santiago; Sisters Maria de los Angeles Rivera and Lisa Scaff; along with many other family members, nieces and nephews.
George was proceeded in death by his parents, Adalberto and Angelina Scaff.
The visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm with the committal service to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
