John in his early teens was known to be an exceptional athlete. John was on the basketball, football, golf, and track teams at Sunnyside High School Tucson Arizona 1975-1977 where he graduated early.
After a family move to Greencastle, PA, he made the decision to make the Navy his career.
John retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. From 1978-1998 John served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and the Gulf War. After his 20 years of service he took to the land of this great country. He became a truck driver.
John married his wife Trayce of 23 years. He was a great dad to his kids Brittanie Phillip and Kristiaan.
Just as he was going to retire, from two great careers and sit back and enjoy life and do what he enjoyed most. Watching his Sunday football hoping his San Francisco 49ers would win a Super Bowl. God decided that he needed John back in heaven. John will be greeted in Heaven by his father, mother and brother.
We will miss our John our husband, father, brother and uncle.
A graveside service for John will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
