Keith L Hansen

Keith LaVern Hansen was born December 18, 1929, twenty-six miles northeast of Philip, SD, along with a twin brother to their parents Ralph and Alvina (Eckerman) Hansen. Keith grew up working on his parents’ ranches. He graduated from Philip High School.

Keith enlisted in the Air Force on January 1, 1951, and he received an honorable discharge in 1954.

Keith worked for Hughes Aircraft until his retirement.

Survivors include his current wife; one daughter, Cheryl Ann (Hansen) Wright of Tennessee along with four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Keith was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Lou (Wagner) Hansen on August 12, 1994; his parents; son Bradley Kent Hansen; daughter Shawn Renee (Hansen) Peak; eight brothers: Wallace (Bud), Russell (Bob), Cecil, Virgil (Dobie), Ralph Jr. (Tody), Dean, Dale, Philip; two sisters Margret (Sis) Hollenbeck and Bonnie Kanago.

Keith’s identical twin brother, Kenneth Vaughn Hansen passed away 5 days after Keith on March 18, 2024, in South Dakota.

Private graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
