

Larry Norris Bacon was born on October 13, 1952. He was the 8th child out of 11 to Joy and Lillie Bacon. Larry lived most of his life in Tucson, Arizona, where he played football, and graduated from Tucson High School. Shortly after that, he landed a job at Kirby vacuums earning numerous awards for Salesman of the year. “He did have the gift of gab”. He then went on and worked 25 years at Sam Levitz Furniture, and finally retired after 12 years with the Tucson Unified School District. Larry enjoyed sports especially anything UofA. He loved the outdoors and taking his family on many camping trips, and numerous family vacations. He loved being a father and grandfather. Larry was well known for giving a good tongue lashing or two. He gave his life to GOD in 2004 joining the family church TRINITY HOPE formally BACON MEMORIAL. He is preceded in death by his father Joy Bacon and two brothers Homer and Forest Bacon. He leaves behind his mother Lillie Bacon (Tucson, AZ), Shantee Bacon Prunty(Little Rock, ARK), Michael Smith (Tucson, AZ), Mandrall Bacon (Las Vegas, NV) and Fredrique Bacon (Tucson, AZ). 8 Siblings: Wade, Marshall, Don, Jay and Tommy; all of (Tucson, AZ) Lillie Car (Sanjose, CA) Eva Turner (Houston, TX) and Delphine Bacon (Oakland, CA) Two former wives Earnestine Smith (Las Vegas, NV), Debbie Sue Bacon (Casagrande, AZ).
