Laurice M. Koussa 85, died peacefully at home on February 3, 2014. She went to be with the Lord and other loved ones who have gone before her. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis E. Koussa, DDS and father, Samuel Shamah. She is survived by her four children, Dr. Louis Koussa, wife, Donna and grandchildren, Korryn, Tayte of Richland, WA and Jlyn Pritchard, husband Jon; great-grandson, Thatcher of Spokane, WA; Linda Koussa of Wilsonville, OR; Leigh Ann Worcester, husband Phil and grandchildren, Michael, Lauren of Tucson and Philip of Denver, CO; Dr. Lawrence Koussa, wife Barbara and grandchildren, Kylie and Alex of Tucson. Laurice was born in Central Falls, RI and lived and raised her family in Detroit, MI before moving to Tucson in 1971. Family and friends will always remember her for unconditional love, devotion to family, generosity and gift of hospitality, not to mention her amazing Arabic cooking. Graveside service will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Road on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:30am.
