

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Leandro Lujan, age 93, a 25-year resident of Tubac, Arizona. He passed away peacefully with his family at his home on June 7th, 2025, in Tubac, AZ. Leandro was born on October 8th, 1931, in Bernalillo, New Mexico to Jose Antonio Lujan and Sorida Candelaria Lujan.
He was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who was loved deeply. He was ambitious and hard working. He served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a master sergeant with 20 years of service. Graduated from Whittier College with a degree in business. He had multiple businesses including a Janitorial Service in Tucson, AZ, Alicia's Antiques in La Puente, Cal, and The Tumacacori Outpost in Tumacacori, AZ.
He had a sense of humor, he was a great cook, he loved photography, enjoyed woodworking, fixing things and he took great pride in being a successful business owner.
Leandro is survived by his loving wife Jessica Lujan, Sister Joann Loraine Lujan See, Children Laurie Lujan Reyna (Ricky), Lynne Lujan Espino (Rick), Jared Brian Lujan, Stepchildren Mel Contreras (Ruth), Joshua Contreras, Anna Contreras (Helen), Christine Contreras,11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Leandro is preceded in death by his parents Jose Antonio Lujan and Sorida Lujan, Brothers Severo Lujan, Avedon Lujan, Charlie Lujan, Antonio Lujan, Isaac Edward Lujan, Lorenzo Lujan, Son Rodney Lujan and Daughter Lorna Lujan Castillo.
