Lois Pires

Lois Kathleen (Petersen) Pires, 53, of Tucson, AZ was released from the bonds of Alzheimer's and this earth into the arms of her Savior on January 7, 2013. Lois was born March 30, 1959, in Omak, WA and was raised in Riverside, WA. Lois loved her family and her Lord. She also enjoyed traveling. Lois had a passion for learning and teaching. She took great pride in having home schooled her children from birth through high school. Her gentle spirit and kindness were shared with everyone she knew. Lois is survived by her husband of 26 years, Andrew (Drew), their son Alexander and daughter Alyssa. Also surviving are brothers Carl (Heidi) and Andrew (LeAnn) Petersen and her sister Cynthia (Patrick) Orr, all of Omak, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Butch and Katie Petersen.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on January 19th at Holy Cross Lutheran church, 241 N. Harrison Road, Tucson AZ 85748. The service is open to all family and friends.
