Madelyn is survived by her three daughters Mimi Rust, Rebecca Lintner, and Sandy Sertich (Richard Sertich) of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bryce (Mike) Johnson; three sons Jim Johnson, Jeff Johnson, and Joe Johnson; and grandson Garry Rust of Tucson, AZ.
Madelyn was born on December 18, 1928 in Indiana. She married Bryce in September of 1947 and spent her life as a homemaker and mother of six. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, patient, and loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Madelyn was passionate about bingo and could often be found at the casino where she was dubbed “Guadalupe”. She was generous, witty, feisty, and had no filter. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her family.
