

Maria joined her Husband Guillermo Bay, her mother Teresa Padilla and her father Jesus Leon, siblings Josefina Lopez, Manuel L Padilla, Quate (Joaquin) her beloved Sons Gustavo Bay and Oscar E Bay and so many other family members that proceeded her.
She is survived by her daughters Blanca Bay, Yolanda Bay (Mark Strickland) and Sandra Bay (Miguel Castillo). Her Grandchildren Hector W Franco, Sandra Phelps, Marcus Begay, Amelia Castillo, Benicio Castillo, Grand pup Loki. Her great grandchildren Isaiah Gonzales, Abriana Franco, Alexander Franco and little Oscar Bay. Her Nephews and Nieces Omar Lopez (Suzy Lopez) Tonio Lopez (Faye Lopez) Alma Anaya (Billy Anaya) Grandnieces and Nephews Tommy J Padilla, Saul Lopez, Jaime Lopez, Izreal Loya, Naya Loya, Antonio Lopez, Gracie Lopez, Mariana Rodriguez (Beto Rodriguez) great grandnieces Marileya, Sophia, Nefeli. Her beloved family the Padilla’s.
Maria was born in Fronteras Sonora moved to Agua Prieta Son but at a young age she immigrated to the US. She Worked, Lived and raised her Family in Tucson AZ. Her work in algaculture jobs kept her touch with nature. She also was a community social justice promoter for Human Rights. Because she was orphaned at a very young age and raised by loving relatives. she taught us that Our family is a circle of strength of love with every birth and every union the circle grows.
A visitation will be held on December 22, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn, located at 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ, 85706-2520, US.
A rosary will follow on the same day from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the same location.
The graveside service will take place on December 22, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ, 85706, US.
A reception will be held on December 22, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ, 85706-2520, US.
