Nancy Alexander

who passed away on March 9th, 2022 at the age of 85.

Nancy is survived by one sister, Marian Geller; three daughters, Karin Martin (Ralph), Sharie Barbour (Bill), Rhonda Porter (William); nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, George Greenbaum; two granddaughters, Jennifer Barbour & Jessica Greenbaum and longtime companion Walter Feiger.

Nancy was born in Montreal, QC, Canada on Jan 12, 1937.

She graduated from Detroit College of Law with her J.D. She also graduated from Wayne State University with her B.A. & Wayne State University School of Social Work with her MSW.

Nancy was a pioneer in creating & advocating social services programs for many walks of life.

She dedicated her life to helping others. From Executive Director of Youth Services Coalition in Michigan to Director of Social Work, Care Management & Fiduciary Services at Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging.

Nancy also started her own company that delved into teaching ethics & conflict mediation. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling the world as a Military & Family Life Consultant.

Funeral services will be held on Monday March 14th, 2022, at 2:30 pm at East Lawn Palms Mortuary with interment to follow.
