

Nancy Lee Boulware of Tucson, Arizona, passed away March 3, 2014. She was 57 years of age. She was born in Tokyo, Japan on May 7, 1956. Nancy graduated from Frankfurt American High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. Nancy married Ralph Boulware on May 18, 1981 and together they had two children, Nicole and Joshua. Nancy worked as a Medical Technologist for 35 years and recently completed her 11th year at the University of Arizona Health Network.
Nancy was raised in the military and lived in many places including Japan, Germany, Okinawa, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Minnesota, Illinois, Texas, Missouri, and settled in Tucson. Nancy enjoyed many outdoor activities in the Tucson area with family and friends such as hiking, biking and walking Tumamoc Hill. Nancy was very artistic and creative including quilting, painting, and crocheting. Nancy was an avid reader and enjoyed introducing her family to the local performing arts such as the ballet, plays, operas and museums.
Nancy will be especially remembered by her loving heart, beautiful smile, compassion towards others and always giving of herself to family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband Ralph, daughter Nicole Boulware, her son Joshua Boulware, her brothers Rick Grefsrud, Jim Grefsrud and Bruce Grefsrud, her sister Sandy Kolb and preceded by her Father Orvin Grefsrud, her mother Asako Grefsrud and her sister Elizabeth Grefsrud.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary & Cemetery, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson, Arizona.
