Nancy Kaye Peterson

Nancy was born on April 28, 1953, in Joliet, IL to George and Lydia (Betty) Peterson. Nancy attended high school in Joliet graduating in 1971. She moved to Arizona in 1975 where she studied at Pima Community College and the University of Arizona.

Nancy loved music and singing and was fortunate enough to be a member of the Arizona Opera Company. She continued her love of singing in her church choir for as long as she was able. Her faith was a big part of her life, and she was very involved with her church community.

She worked as a patient care technician at Tucson Medical Center, and then as a nanny for 20 years. She also ran a small business making beautiful cakes. She loved to sew and make all kinds of art and crafts.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father George, and her mother Lydia (Betty). She is survived by her three sisters, Carol, Katherine, and Darlene, and her nieces and nephews Eric, Jill, Nicole, Carole, and Sarah, and their families.

Services will be held on November 13, 2023, at 1:00 in the afternoon at the Tucson Baptist Church.
